9/11 Memorial: Powerful tribute

I visited the 9/11 Memorial in New York City for the first time last week. For some reason I delayed going there. I guess most New Yorkers try not to dwell too much on the that tragedy and its painful memory. However, the site is truly beautiful and all New Yorkers should go and see it if they haven’t already. I took this toward dusk with my Nikon 90 and a wide angle lens.

Although the most treasured items in this museum of medieval art are the unicorn tapestries from the late 15th century, not to be missed are the brightly colored paintings. For some reason this Paris museum is mostly ignored by tourists. Fine, I had it almost all to myself.
